No, this is not the 80s and we are not channeling those form fitting cropped tops baring your tummy for all to see. The cropped tops of 2011 are loose, boxy, and hit at the top of a high-waisted bottom or slightly above. These tops are found in all types of fabrics from cotton to chunky knit sweaters and pair well with trousers, shorts, tight mini skirts, and maxi skirts, just to name a few. To wear this look in the winter, opt for a long-sleeved sweater cropped top, layered over a longer tank top, worn with tapered trousers and suede booties. While warmer weather arrives, try a short-sleeved cropped top with shorts and gladiator sandals during the day, or with a mini skirt and strappy heels for an evening look.

Wide brimmed hats are a great accessory, especially if you want to make a fashion statement. These hats go great with a casual, bohemian look such as below.
Knee highs and thigh high socks are a great accessory this winter and I love them with boots. Wear thigh highs with booties and wear knee highs sticking out of knee high boots. Both socks below are from Asos.com
The maxi dress has been replaced with the maxi skirt for the fall season. You can accessorize this boho look with belts, boots, a wide-brimmed fedora, and vintage jewelry.
The leather trend – leather jackets, leggings, mini skirts, even tops. Next up, leather shorts. These are a great alternative to give your wardrobe a bit of an edge. Pair leather shorts with a delicate, feminine top and booties like below.
